How can you tell PBS and NPR are left-wing organs in desperate need of losing our tax dollars? The anti-American “Our Revolution” group, founded by Bernie Sanders, created an email address for fundraising purposes under the name “NPR + PBS Protection Alert via Our Revolution.”
Still, there will be idiot Republicans who will balk at the idea because they are spineless or only interested in their own power. They deserve to lose their jobs and have earned whatever public scorn they are confronted with out in the wild.
Bernie’s militant wing writes, “Trump’s war on our public media went nuclear as he signed a terrifying Executive Order demanding the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) ‘cease federal funding for NPR and PBS.’”
Are you terrified at the prospect of a massive corporation with huge revenues that pays its leaders a fortune, losing a portion of its budget? I doubt it. I’m terrified these fascists will continue to suck our cash.
“PBS’s CEO is sounding the alarm,” Bernie’s Brownshirts continue, “She recently warned that ‘There is no Plan B’ if Trump succeeds in his dangerous demand for Congress to zero out funding for public broadcasting.”
They should have a Plan B. Republicans have been talking about defunding these thieves for decades, if they didn’t at least make any back-up plans to make up the difference in their budgets by selling a few more tote bags or running another pledge drive, why the hell should anyone care? Fail to plan and you plan to fail.
How long have we been told that the amount of money these scams get from taxpayers is simply pennies from taxpayers, no big deal – so small you wouldn’t even notice it – and a tiny portion of their overall budget. If they weren’t lying, how would losing these pennies lead to destruction? They write, “Make no mistake: Defunding PBS and NPR will force countless local stations to close. And many of the most vulnerable stations are in rural and underserved areas, with populations that don’t have access to or can’t afford cable or satellite.”
That mythical family living so far off the grid that they only have access to one television channel, which just happens to be PBS. Well, that’s the risk you run when you live in the middle of nowhere. (This place does not exist, by the way, but Democrats assume their donor base is dumb, which it is.)
“Congress is feeling the heat and even a few Republicans recently expressed concern,” it continues. “NOW is the moment to keep up the pressure and show Trump that his ruthless attempt to kill public media won’t work. Will you urgently stand with PBS and NPR and tell Congress to step in and tell Trump to keep his hands off our public media?”
No, I won’t. But if you need someone to come in and pee on the smoldering remains, I might be willing to do that.
In conclusion, the communists write, “We WILL NOT allow Trump’s reckless political interference to undermine our democracy's most trusted independent media sources. Congress works for us, not Donald Trump, not special interests, and they need to know clearly where we stand. Will you urgently add your name to show Congress that the public stands with NPR and PBS and WILL NOT SUPPORT attempts to silence and defund our public media? This fight isn't simply about television and radio – it's about protecting our democracy's cornerstone institutions from partisan attacks. It's about standing with independent journalism that prioritizes truth over profits, children's development over corporate advertisers, and transparency over political agendas.”
Maybe, just maybe, rather than trying to sucker morons out of their hard-earned dollars so leftists can impose their anti-American agenda, these people should advocate for donations to PBS and NPR?

Of course, the whole thing is a scam designed to steal cash from the uneducated supporters of socialism who can least afford it. “Hate the high-interest rate credit cards that charge? Make a donation on your credit card to help fight them!”
Yes, they really are that stupid.
Defund NPR and PBS, let the idiots who watch it make up the difference. Within 3 years, the money will dry up, and they’ll either have to produce a product that appeals to a wide swath of Americans or they die. Either way, it’s a win for America.
