As this space as thoroughly discussed for the past two weeks, the momentum for President Trump to return to the White House is surging—at exactly the right time.
Given that many of the observations I connected dots on were laying wide open for everyone to see naturally people in both campaigns see them as well. Hence the desperation on Team Harris is beginning to border on all out panic.
Because of this former President Obama suited up and spent a portion of his time this week in Pennsylvania, an absolute must win state for Harris. This next week former President Clinton gets his turn.
Now think about just the optics of this for a second. You’ve been campaigning as “the new way forward” and you’re doing so poorly that the best you could do now is to put the two guys who were in charge for sixteen years combined out on the stump to speak in your place.
What’s new? And what’s forward?

Now in addition to Obama getting back in the game he stopped by the local campaign office to give a pep talk and he tried out a bit of his new speech on “the brothers.” In doing so he accused black male voters (by implication) of being “unclean” (in their choices) and by extension self loathing and sexist.
Great pep-talk gramps… go home you’re drunk!
Obama is not wrong on identifying the problem however. Harris is losing black men big time. Not just them though. She’s doing worse with black women, black men, Latinos, the under 35 vote, Jews, Muslims, and suburban women than Biden and Clinton.
The timing of Obama’s scoldfest was of interest however because timed with it was the release of a new campaign ad you can click here to view it: Additionally the campaign sent Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff out to do interviews to focus on attracting male voters.
The ad is without question the most cringe inducing political ad ever made. And Walz and Emhoff emulate pretty much nothing that most aspirational men seek.
Bottom line is simple. The party that can’t define what a woman is, have an even harder time trying to define what a man is.
Their problem is with reality, a space that spend little time inhabiting.
A fact voters have been seeing for weeks now.
It must be an interesting semester to be at a university studying political science right now, because the contrast in messaging, focus, production and results is striking.
Trump spent this week entirely on offense. Drawing even in Detroit and Philadelphia soon coming to New York, and yesterday packing out Coachella (a locale never associated before with a conservative.)
Expect more of the same. His confidence in the solutions he’s offering gives him the energy and drive to keep trying to win over those yet convinced.
Meanwhile she can only repeat that she’s a “woman” who drew up in a “middle class household.”
And when Keenan Thompson is using your line as the punch line for the biggest laugh on the cold open of Saturday Night LIVE…
You’re done lady… go home!
