The Kamala Harris Campaign Is Collapsing

The Kamala Harris campaign is collapsing across the board. That was the case even before the horrific news from San Francisco.

That news is that the first-round draft choice of the San Francisco 49ers was just shot in broad daylight in a “safe” and “upscale” section of San Francisco.  As the initial information about that shocking crime filtered out, I heard from three political operatives that this would reflect very badly on Kamala Harris.  Their immediate reasoning is that former President Donald J. Trump and his campaign have very effectively tied “Comrade Kamala” to the increasing failures of crime and drug-infested San Francisco and California.

Often, busy, hardworking voters don’t pay attention to an issue until a lightbulb is lit above their heads, illuminating the threats facing them and their families. The shooting of the 49ers' first-round draft choice was more like a floodlight than a lightbulb.

Now, not only will millions of Americans tie that shooting to the failed far left and Marxist policies of Harris, but they will ask themselves one of the most important questions of their lives: “How soon before the violent criminals Kamala Harris has let in, coddled, and enabled come to my city, town, or neighborhood?”

The answer to that question – as evidenced by the violent, illegal immigrant gang takeovers of entire buildings in Colorado – is: “They are on the way.”

Unfortunately for Kamala Harris and her “emotional support pet” running mate Tim Walz, the wheels came off her campaign long before this high-profile shooting in San Francisco.  To understand why, we simply need to look back to 2019 to see Harris's future in November.

When then-Senator Kamala Harris announced she was running for the Democratic nomination, she started with great fanfare and momentum.  Not surprisingly, that momentum ran straight into a brick wall—one of her buildings.

Years ago, a friend of mine said this of a consultant who was quickly wearing out her welcome: “A little bit of her goes a long way.”  In 2019, Democratic primary voters almost instantly decided that “a little bit of Harris went a very long way.”

The more they saw and heard of her, the more they turned against her.  So much so, that she was quite humiliatingly, the very first primary candidate to drop out of the race.  All her initial “fanfare” and “momentum” sunk in a sea of cackles and word salads.  She did not even secure one delegate.

Leaving aside the reality that the more the American people see of Harris and her dangerous far-left policies, the less they like her, we come to another unassailable truth, which is dooming her campaign.  That means that the American people can think for themselves and very clearly remember that they were much better off back when Trump was president.  These tens of millions of voters now hunger for the Trump days of lower prices, lower energy bills, lower inflation, lower mortgage rates, a much safer border, lower crime, no wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, and the promise of a much brighter future for their children.

Another ominous sign for Kamala Harris and her campaign is the latest poll from Nate Silver.  That forecast gives Trump a 52.4 percent chance of winning the Electoral College compared to Harris’s 47.3 percent.  Why is that incredibly bad news for Harris?  Two main reasons. First, it comes on the heels of her convention “bounce.”  Second, almost all these polls are dramatically under-sample – purposefully, anyone – Trump voters.

As for the Kamala “bounce,” it didn’t even get knee-high before it burst.  There are three main reasons for this. The first is that Harris is a demonstrably bad candidate. Even the delegates in the convention hall knew she didn't say anything unless it was written down for her.  Original thinking is not her forte.

Next, we see her huge mistake in picking the unvetted Walz as a running mate.  From the second she did, she was on the defensive, trying to explain away the tall tales Walz had rolled out over the years about himself.  All those, of course, came before he started to lock down his fellow citizens, encouraged them to snitch on each other,  and watched while cities in his state were being looted and burned.

Last, Harris had no bounce from her convention because Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. chose the Friday of that week to announce that he was not only suspending his campaign and endorsing Trump but would spend every day until the election going after Harris/Walz and their draconian dictates and fabrications.

The largest of all those fabrications being Harris herself.  The American people do realize that this seemingly AI-generated candidate who hides from the media and can’t string together three coherent sentences on her own has a cabal of deep state and Democrat power brokers behind the scenes pulling her strings.  A totalitarian cabal which truly frightens the voters.

A cabal behind the Harris push to: surrender the border, abolish ICE, defund the police, enable and release violent offenders; end fracking, destroy our fossil fuels, destroy our energy independence, confiscate our guns, end middle-class tax cuts; and eliminate the healthcare plans of millions of Americans while giving billions to illegal immigrants and gang members.

The American people are very bright, and they are on the razor’s edge of fear.  They have figured out that Harris and Walz are openly and repeatedly insulting their intelligence while threatening their quality of life.

Back in 2016, weeks before the election, I emailed a few key pundits to say that not only would Trump pull off the greatest upset in presidential election history but that he would also win Pennsylvania and get around 306 electoral votes.  In 2024, I am saying the Harris campaign is collapsing, and with each passing day, Trump will gain more and more momentum on the way to victory.
