President Trump will not be on the ballot to help Republicans in the midterm elections, but his administration’s promises for his final two years should be. For a critical election, Newt Gingrich rallied Republican candidates to come together with a Contract with America that helped win the day.

The contrast between the Republican and Democratic parties has never been greater. Most Americans are tired of the personal political attacks, but they may again be ready to listen to what these warring parties will actually do if voters deliver them a midterm victory.

Let’s be honest, Donald Trump is a can-do President. He took four years to prepare the campaign promises his administration would start delivering on day one. His team works every day to do just that, and the results are amazing. The GOP’s Big Beautiful Bill, Trump’s tariffs, and agreed corporate investments have the potential of delivering an even stronger economy and more jobs in 2026.

The Democrats don’t even seem willing to identify what they are for, much less what they will do if they take over Congress. If the socialist darling Mamdani is their model, most Americans will reject their candidates. They know his promised rent control, free childcare, free healthcare, and free public transportation, will never work. Aware of Mamdani’s problems, most Democrats are left to just hating and attacking anything Trump.

President Trump is planning a new rally tour designed to highlight his administration’s accomplishments. That is important, but if he wants to keep his momentum going, he needs a Republican controlled House and Senate to finish what he has started. In short, he needs to focus on what he will do in his next two years and why congressional control is critical.  It’s time for him to rally all GOP candidates to help create and sell a new Contract with America. Here is a list of some of the popular priorities they might want to include:

The Biden administration got us into this mess and we are on the way to making America great again.

In short, let Democrats focus on hating Trump and flirting with socialism. Trump has made bold promises and has delivered. It’s time for all Republican candidates to come together to establish and sell a Contract with America that will allow President Trump to keep delivering what voters want for another two years. The GOP is planning a summer convention. Let a Contract with America be a powerful outcome that helps deliver a clear majority in both houses in November. May it be so.
