School choice vs. Blaine amendments

The City-Sentinel in Oklahoma has a nice history lesson explaining how obscure provisions named for James G. Blaine,  a 19th century nativist politician “who wanted to reshape the First Amendment in his own anti-Catholic image,” are hindering 21st century efforts to expand school choice.
