What part of no does the majority party not understand?
The American people have rejected this push for a government takeover of health care, and this Majority and this President continue to ignore them.
The American people want both parties to work together by scrapping this intrusive bill and work in a bipartisan fashion to reform health care.
But the Majority will have none of it. They are tone deaf. In fact, The Washington Times headline the day after the President’s health care summit says it all - - At Summit, Obama mostly hears Obama.
The people from my district and across this nation are paying close attention. Very close attention.
Each of us here has been elected as representatives of the people, so let’s start representing them. Reject the government takeover of health care. Stand up for the people who hired us. It is time both parties come to the table to craft a bipartisan health care bill all Americans can support.
