Trump Gains Voter Confidence Amid Iran-Israel Crisis in New Poll

A new poll showed resounding confidence that Americans are still happy with their vote. While wartime is usually a misstep in a president's legacy, President Donald Trump is shaping up to prove that wrong.

As tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate, a new Insider Advantage poll reveals that, despite widespread opposition to new foreign wars, U.S. voters overwhelmingly back Trump’s stance that Iran must be stopped from acquiring a nuclear weapon, no matter the cost.

Voters were asked whether they believe Trump should take “all necessary” measures to stop Iran’s military nuclear program, and the response was overwhelmingly in favor.

A strong majority—74.4 percent—agreed that President Trump should take action, while only 22.9 percent disagreed. An additional 2.7 percent were undecided or expressed no opinion.

Meanwhile, a poll conducted by JL Partners found strong support among Trump voters for U.S. military action against Iranian targets. According to the survey, 65 percent of Trump supporters favor strikes on Iranian outposts, while only 19 percent are opposed. Among self-identified “traditional” Republicans, support is also high—51 percent back taking action against Iran, compared to 28 percent who are against it. Overall, Republicans favor a strike by a margin of 58 to 25 percent, with 17 percent remaining undecided or neutral.

This comes as Republicans remain divided over how Trump should approach the escalating situation with Iran. Some argue he should steer clear of direct involvement in the conflict, while others believe he should take decisive action against the Iranian regime. Critics warn that such a move could provoke further instability. However, Trump has consistently maintained for over a decade that Iran must never obtain nuclear weapons, and supporters argue his current stance reflects a long-standing commitment to that promise.
