The Canadian “proud feminist,” aka Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, berated American voters for not electing a woman president, claiming that women’s rights in the United States were under attack.
While addressing the Equal Voice Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting gender equity in Canadian politics, Justin Trudeau expressed his disappointment with American voters for not supporting Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris in the presidential election. His remarks sparked nationwide attention and criticism, including a pointed response from Elon Musk, who referred to Trudeau as an "insufferable tool.”
“It wasn’t supposed to be that way,” Trudeau said. “We were supposed to be on a steady, if difficult sometimes, march towards progress. And yet, just a few weeks ago, the United States voted for a second time to not elect its first woman president. Everywhere, women’s rights and women’s progress is under attack, overtly and subtly. But I want you to know that I am and always will be a proud feminist. You will always have an ally in me and in my government.”
The people of the United States should be ashamed of themselves for electing a president based on the will of the voters.

They should have elected a woman instead.
Listen as I clearly state that they should have voted for Kamala, based solely on her gender.

Musk took a dig at the prime minister, slamming his "proud feminist" remark and suggesting that Trudeau’s time in office is nearly up.
The founder of X has been a vocal critic of Trudeau’s policies. Last year, when the Canadian government introduced regulations requiring online streaming platforms to register with the government for oversight, Musk called the move “shameful” and accused Trudeau of attempting to “crush free speech in Canada.”

Trudeau’s overly liberal stance has contributed to polarized opinions about his leadership, rooted in diversity, inclusion, and progressive social policies.
The prime minister has also been vocal about progressive measures, including government intervention in healthcare, climate change, and economic equality—all hallmarks of a liberal government. He also strongly advocates for LGBTQ+ rights, gender equality, and immigration.
Some of Trudeau’s extreme liberal policies include implementing a federal carbon tax, which conservatives argue that such measures unfairly burden businesses, increase living costs, and disproportionately affect rural and resource-dependent communities.
