Lewandowski Has a Message for the GOP: Get Behind Trump or Lose in 2018

President Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said the GOP better get behind the president or risk losing seats in the 2018 election.

“President Trump was elected to change the country,” he said Wednesday on Fox News.

“You can get on board that train or you can lose your next election. I can promise you this – the Democrats have a different agenda.”

And the Republicans will lose more than just their seats, he warned. Everything Trump promised on the campaign trail will be “gone” if Democrats take back the House, he said.

“Get the final conclusion done on the repeal and replace of ObamaCare,” he said to Republicans. “Get the massive tax cut, the largest tax cut in the history of our country, get that done.

“Get the infrastructure bill done. Get the wall built. If you do those things, you will get reelected. If you don’t do those things, it’s because you have failed the American people.”

Trump tweeted Wednesday morning that Republican senators should “quickly get together” to pass a new repeal and replace healthcare bill.

Earlier this week he also called on the Senate to end the filibuster so his agenda can come to fruition.

“The U.S. Senate should switch to 51 votes, immediately, and get Healthcare and TAX CUTS approved, fast and easy,” Trump tweeted. “Dems would do it, no doubt!”
