The word and religious police are running wild again in Massachusetts. At one school, children have been told to sing "We love the USA," instead of the original "God bless the USA," in a song for an upcoming school assembly.
According to parents, children at Stall Brook Elementary school were told to sing "We love the USA" instead of "God Bless the USA" during the chorus of the popular Lee Greenwood song.

Luckily, parent outrage has forced the school to pull the altered "We love the USA" song, but sadly, the original version won't be played at the assembly either.
Following outrage from parents; a changed version of "God Bless the USA" has been pulled from an upcoming school assembly concert.
n a statement from Stall Brook Elementary school, they said they hope to "maintain the focus on the original objective of sharing students' knowledge of the U.S. States, and because of logistics, will not include any songs."
According to the school, it's either their politically corrent song or no song at all.
