Cold War History Lesson for Obama: The West Won

President Barack Obama is giving no credit to Ronald Reagan for the end of the Cold War, but instead is citing “a whole bunch of people throughout Eastern Europe who showed enormous courage.”

In an interview, FoxNews White House Correspondent Major Garrett asked the president to explain why he couldn’t admit the west had won the cold war, led specifically by a combination of democratic and republican presidents, and the president responded with answers that gave credit to the people of Europe rather than the leadership of the United States, or Ronald Reagan for that matter.

It seems that the current president needs a history lesson.
"General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate, Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!'"
-Ronald Reagan (Berlin Wall Address 1987)
