Budget Committee Approves Mulvaney for Senate Vote

U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney was approved for an official Senate floor vote on Thursday to be the next White House budget chief.

The Republican congressman from South Carolina was cleared by the Senate Budget Committee in a 12-11 partisan vote.

Bernie Sanders voted against Mulvaney citing his "extreme right wing point of view."
