Romney campaign: Hypocrisy pitfall on the campaign trail

The upcoming elections in 2008 will be a great test for the evangelical movement in America — not only in terms of demonstrating their political clout at the polls — but, more importantly, to show that they have finally matured into a positive, mainstream force in American politics. But if evangelicals succumb to hypocritical, narrow-minded bigotry, not only will they have done great injury to their cause and country, they will have proven their critics are right: they're still not worthy or ready to lead.
