Harry Reid Is So Toxic He Can't Even Get His Son To Campaign With Him

Rory Reid is running for governor in Nevada, but is keeping his distance — 450 miles as of today — and his advertisements away from his father Harry as much as possible. They're campaigning on opposite ends of the state, and have made few public appearances together. That's because Harry isn't going to be an asset to Rory, given a strong anti-incumbent fever and Nevada's unemployment rate, which is nearly 1.5 times the national average.

Democrats admit that having Rory in the game isn't the best scenario for Harry, either. It makes the election much more about the Reids and a lot less about homegrown Nevada politics, further jeopardizing the Senator's re-election.

Speaking of Nevada, Obama is heading there today to stump for Harry — but I wonder who is more toxic for each other: Harry for Rory, or Obama for Harry.
