Ariz. Governor Suspends Democratic Attorney General Who Doesn't Want To Enforce Immigration Law

You go girl.

Terry Goddard, Arizona's Democratic attorney general, will be Republican Gov. Jan Brewer's likely opponent in the November mid-term elections. He also happens to be the guy who is charged with defending Arizona's state laws. Goddard isn't too keen on defending Arizona's sparkly new immigration regulations.

So Brewer suspended him from performing any work related to the law.
That's right — she just ordered him to stop. Here's her statement:
I believe the federal government should use its legal resources to fight illegal immigration, not the State of Arizona.
The timing of the suspension was impeccable. Goddard just met with Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder to try and pool resources to fight the law, because we all know the Commander in Chief's next campaign objective is to coddle the Hispanic lobby. That didn't sit too well with Brewer, who apparently wanted the state's attorney general to, you know, uphold laws that have been passed in the state.
