Parker: McDonnell's Policies Are Good For Everyone, Including Women

I reported on the VA governors race last week -- today, Kathleen Parker nails it on the vicious attacks Deeds has launched on McDonnell throughout the course of their campaign. It's about time a conservative woman wrote such an on-point piece about McDonnell's attitudes towards women and families:
Deeds's attacks on McDonnell on behalf of women suggest desperation -- or a lack of ideas. They also suggest a lack of awareness or connection to 21st-century women. Is there anything more patronizing than the assumption that women's interests are limited by their biology? Rather retro for a progressive, if I do say so.
