After Trip To Disney, Fla. Congressman Wants To Mandate Paid Vacation

Alan Grayson will introduce the Paid Vacation Act today, which mandates a week off after one year and two weeks off after two years for people at companies with at least 100 employees. If the company has at least 50 employees, half that amount of time is required.

Grayson was apparently inspired to put forth this bill while standing in Disney World, in his district in Orlando, Florida. "Honestly, as much as I appreciate this job and as much as I enjoy it, the best days of my life are and always have been the days I’m on vacation," he told Politico.

He's also promoting legislation that would replace Nancy Pelosi with Mickey Mouse, and turn the White House into an amusement park.
