Debbie Wasserman Schultz: We Must Vanquish These Tea Party "Tyrants"

In the process of exploring innovative vilification methods against the Tea Party in recent weeks, Democrats have resorted to reinventing the English language.  They've grossly abused and contorted the term "terrorism."  They've imputed various psychological conditions onto millions of people, based exclusively on their ideology.  And now, they've expanded the definition of tyranny to include duly-elected representatives' lawful pursuit of the policies on which they campaigned.  The woman responsible for this latest bersmirchment is none other than our lying, venemous old friend, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz:

The head of the Democratic National Committee joined Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) on Monday in casting blame for the U.S. credit downgrade on the Tea Party movement.  Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) quoted Kerry's comments made Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press" and noted, "Truer words never spoken."

Kerry, commenting Sunday on Standard & Poor’s downgrade of the national credit rating from AAA to AA+ on Friday, cast the downgrade as a reflection of the influence of the Tea Party movement on the deficit negotiations.  Wasserman Schultz noted in a tweet Monday that she agreed with Kerry, calling the Tea Party "tyrants" who blocked a more comprehensive bargain on the debt ceiling.

Just so we're clear, DWS believes that "truer words" have never been spoken than when John Kerry blamed a credit downgrade decades in the making on a fledgling political movement whose animating principle is rectifying the very problem that precipitated the crisis.  Perfect.  She also continues to claim that Tea Party Republicans "blocked" a more comprehensive debt bargain.  In fact, Tea Party Republicans overwhelmingly backed the Ryan budget and Cut/Cap/Balance -- both of which would have instantly eliminated the possibility of downgrade.  It's her party that has refused to introduce a budget in the Senate for over 830 days -- and that exploited the debt deal as an opportunity to "deem" non-existent budgets into being.  And it's her party's president who twice extinguished debt deals that didn't suit him politically, prior to endorsing and signing a compromise measure with time expiring.  Alas, none of these facts seem to shake Wasserman Schultz's resolve when it comes to the execution of her daily duties: Distorting the truth, and maligning conservatives for electoral advantage.  Allen West's frank appraisal of this woman is looking more accurate by the day.

UPDATE - As the nation is becoming blood-curdlingly acquainted with the new DNC chief, relatively few Americans have ever even heard the name Reince Priebus.  That's likely because rather than shooting his mouth off endlessly, DWS' Republican counterpart is going about the mundane but essential business of righting the RNC ship, and getting it battle-ready for 2012.  That doesn't mean he's been invisible, though.  Priebus appeared on Fox News directly after President Downgrade's speech yesterday afternoon, and he came loaded for bear:

Of this performance, conservative author David Limbaugh tweeted: "This is how it's done."
