Gen Shelton on "Daily Show": Ending DADT Will "Break The Backbone" Of U.S. Military

General Hugh Shelton, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was very clear about his concern that overturning DADT will “break” our combat arms. And he cited the

survey results.  He also said the Mullen’s view was more or less the Obama administration line.

Since the interview was with Stewart (who is of course for repeal) means that Shelton got interrupted by Stewart a couple of times for Stewart’s pious utterances in favor of repeal, although Stewart was respectful.
