Two things to note: The school's Assistant Superintendent, Suzan Hebson declared that the trip "would not be aligned" with the school's "beliefs and values." Who exactly is the school and why aren't the students and parents and especially the basketball team allowed the freedom to choose whether the Arizona law is in line with their "beliefs and values"? After all, 70 percent of their fellow Americans agree with the Arizona law.

Second, why do these leftist school officials (yea, I'm aware of the redundancy) value a woman's right to choose abortion and also reject parent's notification when a girl chooses abortion, but they refuse to allow these same girls the ability to make a choice that is in opposition to their leftist values? The Left's totalitarian impulse is so evident, yet conservatives are the ones branded with this label.

As Dennis Prager said: This economic boycott is a declaration of war. Just because San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Highland Park High School are not lobbing bombs into Arizona, don't think this is not a threatening and violent act.
