Like many conservatives, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is wishing that Sen. Marco Rubio would consider becoming the GOP presidential nominee's running mate. It's a darn shame that the GOP's approbation for the young senator is so often chalked up to merely an endeavor to shift the loyalties of Latino voters -- while that's certainly a part of it, that's only because he so eloquently and brilliantly illustrates why such vitriolic liberal talking points are false.

Bush, speaking to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, said that the junior Florida senator is "dynamic, joyful, disciplined and principled."

"He is the best orator of American politics today, a good family man.
