Not a single network newscast led with the bomshells about Benghazi that came out of today's hearings -- the inadequate security, the denial of requests for more security, the administration's outright falsehoods about a YouTube film supposedly precipitating the terrorist attacks.

But to his credit, Anderson Cooper broadcast an interview with the mother of Sean Spicer, who was killed along with Ambassador Stevens on 9/11 in Benghazi.  For a press that was so eager to exploit the pain of Cindy Sheehan, the disinterest in this lady is a mark of shame.  The next time Chuck Todd bemoans the lack of "trust in our government"   he and the rest of his MSM brethren might do well both to remember this episode . . . and the media's relative (non) coverage of it:
