U.S. Troops Deployed to Fight African Islamic Terror Group Hillary Clinton Said Wasn't a Terror Group

The Pentagon and President Obama have announced the deployment of 300 U.S. troops to Cameroon to fight the expansion of the Islamic terror group Boko Haram, which has pledged its allegiance to ISIS and is infamous for kidnapping and raping young girls. U.S. troops are being sent without a timeline. From BBC

US President Barack Obama has announced that US armed forces have been deployed to Cameroon to help fight against the Islamist militants Boko Haram.

The force, which will be 300 strong, will conduct airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations in the region.

Cameroon and Chad have been targeted by the Islamist militants from northern Nigeria.

Mr Obama said the forces would remain in Cameroon until "no longer needed".

But it wasn't too long ago when former Secretary of State and current Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton refused to classify Boko Haram as a terrorist organization

Under Hillary Clinton, the State Department repeatedly declined to fully go after the terror group responsible for kidnapping hundreds of girls.

The State Department under Hillary Clinton fought hard against placing the al Qaeda-linked militant group Boko Haram on its official list of foreign terrorist organizations for two years. And now, lawmakers and former U.S. officials are saying that the decision may have hampered the American government’s ability to confront the Nigerian group that shocked the world by abducting hundreds of innocent girls.

Oops.

Of course, Clinton's past lack of action on Boko Haram hasn't stopped her from flip flopping on the issue. After all, she'll say anything to get elected.
