Liberty University is hosting its first ever conservative day of activism on its campus in Lynchburg, VA on Friday. It'll feature some of the biggest names in the movement, including Donald Trump, Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, and Liberty University President Jerry Falwell, Jr. The headliners will cover a wide range of issues important to conservatives, like the importance of the free market, campus free speech, and protecting our veterans, hence an afternoon appearance by Gary Sinise, actor and founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation.

Attendees at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, MD get to follow the event via live stream starting at 10:45 a.m.

The midday segments starting at 11:35 a.m. will feature Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin, Sean Spicer, and other conservative activists focused on Making an Impact.

Sinise will headline the afternoon segment Honoring Our Heroes starting at 2:30 p.m., along with wounded warriors and other U.S. military veterans.

Dave Brat, the new dean for Liberty's School of Business, is especially looking forward to the afternoon.

"We're just very excited to celebrate the veterans amongst us," he said.

Several of the veterans they'll be recognizing are high level heroes, including those who survived WWII.

"They'll be promoting our first principles like the rule of law, and free markets," Brat explained. It'll be "great for our students" to "meet who it is that is defending the Constitution."

Brat expects it to be an inspiring day of policies, a great education opportunity, and a perfect chance to showcase Liberty.

Liberty President Jerry Falwell, Jr. told Townhall that they are stoked to partner once again with the Trumps. He noted that Trump support is higher among conservative students than when the election "because of all that he's done."

"People have gotten past his temperament," Falwell explained, because he's "bringing jobs and making us strong on the world stage again."

Falwell also noted Trump's Supreme Court achievements and his "fighting so hard for the border wall." Trump's agenda, Falwell said, is "much more important than if you like his personality or not."

The Liberty president shared that he talks to Trump every few weeks and they've become good friends.

"It's a good relationship," he said, joking that the Trumps "are more complimentary than they should be."
