Former DNC Chairman Howard Dean said it was "a big fat lie" that anyone had ever said that the 2016 Democratic primary was rigged for Hillary Clinton.
As usual, a big fat Lie. Despite all the problems at the DNC, No one has said the primaries were rigged. https://t.co/WFYTzWdtL2— Howard Dean (@GovHowardDean) November 3, 2017
In a follow-up tweet, he then bizarrely tried to say that President Trump had rigged the primaries, along with his "corrupt cronies."
Applying the Trump rule ( whatever he says is really about Trump) the only rigging was Done by Trump and his corrupt cronies. https://t.co/WFYTzWdtL2— Howard Dean (@GovHowardDean) November 3, 2017
Of course, it's actually not a "big fat lie" that nobody has said the primaries were rigged.
Over to you, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA):
For those of you who might have missed the end of that clip, that's Warren herself saying "yes" when asked if she believed that the DNC was rigged for Clinton.
These questions came in the light of former DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile's explosive piece alleging as much, detailing how the Clinton campaign had basically absorbed the DNC and controlled finances and communications. It was an eye-opening, jaw-dropping piece that you should read if you haven't already.
So that's two people--Brazile and Warren--who have gone on the record and said that they believed that the nominating process was rigged. Two is greater than zero, Howard Dean.
