Rudy Giuliani Removes Himself From Sec. of State Consideration

Former NYC mayor and GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani will not be Donald Trump's Secretary of State. A press release from the Donald Trump transition team said that Giuliani had removed himself from further consideration and will not serve any role in the Trump cabinet.

Per the press release, Giuliani will remain a private citizen. He will, however, continue to serve as a vice chair of the Presidential Transition Team.
