Eric Holder News

Current Obama administration U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is the first African-American to hold the position. Involved in a legal capacity in both the Reagan and Clinton administrations, Holder secured the job as attorney general after serving as a senior legal advisor in Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. A New York native, Holder stayed local for his undergraduate and law degrees, receiving both from Columbia. He now lives in Washington D.C. with his wife, obstetrician Sharon Malone, and his three children. Due to his possible ties to Operation Fast and Furious, Holder has been a hot news item. Congressional Republican Darrell Issa recently subpoenaed Holder to determine whether or not he had involvement in the program.
