KIEV (Reuters) - Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili was detained at an apartment in Kiev on Tuesday, dragged out by masked officers while his supporters protested on the street and tried to stop the police van from leaving.

It is the latest twist in a prolonged feud between the Kiev authorities and Saakashvili, who was drafted in to become a regional governor after the 2014 Maidan protests but quickly fell out with his one time ally President Petro Poroshenko.
