CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuela's opposition said on Tuesday pre-conditions had not been met for talks with President Nicolas Maduro's government planned in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday, citing lack of progress on issues from human rights to elections.

Following months of anti-Maduro protests earlier this year that led to at least 125 deaths, both sides sent delegations to meet the Dominican Republic's president this month for a possible start to a negotiated solution to Venezuela's deep political crisis.
