BEIRUT (Reuters) - A U.S.-led coalition conducted air strikes to block a convoy of Islamic State fighters and their families from reaching Islamic State-held territory in eastern Syria from the Lebanese border under a truce deal, a coalition spokesman said on Wednesday.

Islamic State fighters had surrendered their enclave straddling the Lebanese-Syrian border and departed on Monday for eastern Syria under the deal with the Syrian army and Hezbollah.
