Turkey detains six Islamic State militants planning attack on opposition march - governor

ANKARA (Reuters) - Turkish police detained six Islamic State militants planning to attack a protest march led by the leader of the main opposition party, the governor of Kayseri province in central Turkey told the website of Hurriyet newspaper on Wednesday.

Turkey's main opposition CHP party leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu launched a 425 km (265 mile) march last month from the capital Ankara to Istanbul after the jailing of a lawmaker from his party on spying charges.
