JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's President Jacob Zuma has nominated Mandisa Maya as president of the Supreme Court of Appeal, his office said on Monday.

"Justice Maya will fill the vacancy that has occurred following the discharge from active service of Justice Lex Mpati," Zuma said in a statement.
