KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) — A Jamaican couple and their two young daughters have died in a four-car crash on a bridge.
Police on Tuesday identified the children as 8-year-old Ranisha Drummond and her 5-year-old sister Tia. They died from their injuries at a local hospital after the late Monday crash on a bypass bridge in the north coast town of Falmouth.
Their parents, Rodney Drummond and Tanisha Small, were reported dead at the accident scene.
Falmouth police report that the father was driving with his family in a small sedan when he collided with a SUV, which then crashed into a bus and another vehicle.
Police say the investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is ongoing.
