Cameron, Hollande celebrate 'common ground'

LONDON (AP) — French President Francois Hollande and British Prime Minister David Cameron are playing up their "common ground" and good relationship as they held their first meeting since the French leader was elected in May.

At a joint press conference Tuesday at Cameron's office, the British leader said the two had good discussions on trade, defense cooperation and Europe.

Hollande, who spoke in French, said they shared "a common intent to put both our countries on the path to growth and recovery."
