Jordan's prime minister Khasawneh resigns

AMMAN (Reuters) - Jordan's Prime Minister Awn Khasawneh resigned on Thursday, barely six months after he was asked to form a government in response to protests calling for faster political reforms in the kingdom.

State television said King Abdullah accepted Khasawneh's resignation.
