An April 5 story incorrectly identified a U.N. agency that condemned a decision by Brazil's top appeals court finding that sex with a 12-year-old does not necessarily constitute statutory rape. The Associated Press erroneously described the agency as the United Nations refugee agency. It was, in fact, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. The story also erroneously identified Amerigo Incalcaterra as the head of the U.N. human rights high commissioner's regional office for South America. He is the regional representative of the high commissioner's office in South America.
