Colombian police say an explosion at a home in Bogota has killed three men and left one seriously injured.
Gen. Luis Eduardo Martinez is Bogota's police chief and says the blast occurred on the third floor of a residential building early Sunday in the neighborhood of Suba.
He says a group of students were drinking alcohol and working with explosives at the time.
Martinez says the injured young man was a brother of one of those killed, and that 10 other people in the area suffered light injuries.
It was unclear what they intended to do with the explosives. Police said they found pamphlets, signs and other materials in the home referring to Colombian rebel groups including the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
