The candidate for Mexico's governing party had added a little extra in registering for the July 1 presidential election.
Josefina Vazquez Mota presented a test showing her drug-free as she presented documents needed to make her the official candidate of the National Action Party. She says she also presented a lie detector test Saturday showing she has no ties to organized crime.
Vasquez Mota is the first woman ever nominated for the presidency by a major Mexican political party.
Most polls show her second among the three principal candidates.
