Tunisian authorities say they have arrested a fugitive nephew of the country's deposed dictator.
Kais Ben Ali has been hiding from Tunisian justice for the last 14 months and was arrested Wednesday in the coastal city of Sousse.
The state news agency reported that he was wanted for embezzlement and customs violations.
Villagers in the town of Ouardanine also accuse the nephew of being involved in an incident on Jan. 15, 2011, when police opened fire on civilians killing four.
Ali's uncle, former President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, fled to Saudi Arabia last year after a month of demonstrations led to his overthrow.
