Police: 3 more days to ID body on queen's estate

British police say it could take another three days to identify a woman whose remains were found on Queen Elizabeth II's rural Sandringham estate.

Detective Chief Inspector Jes Fry of Norfolk Police said Friday that decomposition had made compiling a DNA profile tricky. He said results of tests on samples from teeth, bone and muscle tissue were expected Monday.

The body was found by a dog-walker on Jan. 1 in woodland three miles (five kilometers) from the royal residence at Sandringham House.

Police say the victim is a woman aged between 15 and 23 and the body was at the secluded site for several months.

Fry said police had not been able to establish a cause of death because of decomposition.

He said police were in touch with "a number of families" of missing women.
