The trial has started in Belarus for two men accused of carrying out a terrorist attack in the capital's subway that left 15 dead and injured hundreds.
More than 120 people injured in the April bombings and relatives of those killed attended the opening hearing Thursday at the House of Justice in Minsk.
Investigators say the accused, who have been identified as Dmitry Konovalov and Vladislav Kovalyov, both 25-years-old, met at school and were explosives enthusiasts. Prosecutors say the accused were consumed by hatred for humankind.
Eleven people were killed instantly when the powerful bomb went off at Oktyabrskaya metro station, and four later died of their injuries.
Konovalov and Kovalyov are also accused of three other bombings in 2005 and 2008, but nobody was killed in those attacks.
