Investigators in Argentina have recreated the crime scene where two French tourists were raped and shot to death.
Officials say Friday's effort has shown contradictions between the suspects' accounts about how the women were attacked on a scenic hiking trail.
Investigative Judge Martin Perez led the three-hour reconstruction. The three main suspects were led in handcuffs and bulletproof vests up the Quebrada de San Lorenzo trail outside Salta where the bodies of Cassandre Bouvier and Moumni Houria were discovered on July 29.
Suspect Gustavo Lasi claims he only raped the younger woman and wasn't there when suspects Santos Clemente Vera and Daniel Octavio Vilte shot Frenchwomen to death. The other two accuse Lasi of lying.
