KABUL (Reuters) - Four suicide bombers attacked a Kabul police compound in the old city on Saturday, and two were holed up inside a building there to battle Afghan security forces, the spokesman for the Interior Ministry said.

"One bomber blew himself up at the gate to pave the way for the others to enter, and a second one was shot dead by the police," spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said, adding that there were no dead reported beyond the attackers.

"Two were able to enter a building in the same compound and the fight is going on with security forces at the area," Sediqqi added.
