A Pakistani government official says a roadside bomb targeting security forces has killed a passer-by in the country's southwest.
The official, Shabir Ahmed, says four security officers and four civilians were also wounded in Saturday's attack in the town of Panjgore.
Ahmed says rescue services have transported the wounded to a hospital.
Panjgore lies 480 miles (800 kilometers) south of Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan province.
Baluchistan has long been the site of a low-level insurgency by nationalists who say they want the province to receive a greater share of the profits from natural resources extracted from it.
