Pakistan military helicopter crashes; no word on casualties

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - A military helicopter with the head of the provincial paramilitary force on board crashed in eastern Pakistan on Wednesday, a military official said.

"There were five people on board including Major-General Mohammad Nawaz, director general of the Punjab Rangers. It fell into a river," the official said on condition of anonymity. "We don't know the cause as well as casualties."
