Police say the bodies of eight young men have been dumped in a ditch in northwest Pakistan.
Riaz Katha said the bodies had no bullet holes or obvious signs of violence. They were found Sunday in Attock, a town 70 kilometers west of the capital Islamabad on the bank of river Indus.
Much of northwest Pakistan is riven by an Islamist insurgency. Security forces and the militants have been widely accused of rights abuses, including extrajudicial killings.
