In a March 23 story about a tsunami drill in the Caribbean, The Associated Press incorrectly reported that some radio stations in the U.S. Virgin Islands broadcast an emergency alert in Spanish but not English. The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency says that the alert was broadcast in both languages but that the signal was weak and it was distorted on some stations.
