California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has visited his native Austria.
Local broadcaster ORF reports that the former bodybuilder and actor spent Tuesday night in a hotel in the southern city of Graz after visiting the grave of his parents and eating a typically Austrian dinner that included Wienerschnitzel.
Schwarzenegger, who grew up in the area, said in audio on ORF's Web site that he was happy to see old friends again.
Schwarzenegger was expected to address a policy forum in Milan, Italy, on Wednesday.
On Monday, he dropped in on U.S. troops in Iraq.
