Experts are saying despite this weekend’s vote in the House to ban it, don’t expect Tiktok to go away any time soon.

Historic criminal trial of Donald Trump begins in New York

Opening arguments and testimony began today [MON] in Donald Trump’s New York criminal trial. A prosecutor opened the historic trial by saying Trump tried to illegally influence the 2016 presidential election. Prosecutor Matthew Colangelo said actions taken to conceal payments to Stormy Daniels amounted to “election fraud, pure and simple.” But defense attorney Todd Blanche argued that Trump “is innocent” and that trying to influence an election “is called democracy,” not a crime. The trial could last up to two months.

The two have long had amicable relations..Johnson supportive of Trump’s effort to challenge certification of the 2020 election, and has endoresd his bid for reelection. The joint apperance also comes at a time when Johnson can benefit from a strong show of support from the former Commander in Chief. He’s facing the threat of being ousted as Speaker , an effort being lead by fellow Trump supporter , Georgia Repreentative Marjorie Taylor Green.

Evangelicals want action on immigration

VERBATIM: According to a new survey by LifeWay Research, the surge in illegal border crossings during the Biden administration is worrying Evangelical Christians. 80% want Congress to take action to stop the flow. Lifeway spokesman Scott McConnell says “The urgency continues to grow for Congress to act this year to improve laws around immigration.” The poll also finds that Evangelicals are concerned for the welfare of illegal aliens and want to share the gospel with them.
