BOSTON (Reuters) - A federal judge on Thursday blocked the deportation of 50 Indonesian Christians living illegally in New Hampshire while they seek to reopen their immigration cases to argue they would likely face religious persecution in their home country.

U.S. District Judge Patti Saris in Boston ruled that the federal government for now cannot move forward with the removal process that immigration officials began last year after President Donald Trump took office.
